Mammoth Donkeys, originally brought to this country as a gift to George Washington, have been here for hundreds of years but their numbers are quite low. We raise them to preserved their genetic diversity and so others can continue breeding draft mules. Since this is a working farm, ours are trained to ground drive and are an important aspect in working the fields. We also trail ride with them, a great way to share about these wonderful animals.
