We raise three heritage breeds of chickens, as defined by the ALBC. The Buff Orpington and Wyandotte hens lay brown eggs daily. These hens are allowed to free range on the farm so get a healthy dose of ruffage, bugs, worms, and grit in their natural diet. You can be sure our eggs are fresh and healthy! Our third breed, the Dorking is a meat bird. Since the breeding stock numbers are low, any eggs we get from these hens are set under broody hens or incubated to give more chicks. The Dorkings are pastured and have access to fresh forage each day. |
